
“FOOD THAT RAWKS” Surviving the Holidays edition presents Fudge!
Holiday parties have you worried about a tempting selection of Un-healthy foods to choose from? With family gathering, work parties, and other Holiday bashes, the best thing on your list to bring to Holiday festivities is Fudge! Your Fudge will be the hit of the party guaranteed, and will make it easy to steer clear of the not so healthy choices! Those who enjoy your fudge won’t believe it’s good for them. Did you know raw cacao is full of magnesium and antioxidants! Indulge this Holdiay without the Guilt!
I hear Santa loves this fudge too!
3c macadamia nuts. Process in food processor, till crumbly, then add
1c CocoPura coconut oil (melted)
2tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/3 c pure water room temperature
3/4c cocoa powder
Process till smooth, then add 1/2 c Agave syrup
Dab coconut oil over a shallow cookie sheet to prevent mixture form sticking. Chill until firm and cut into squares.
Recipe Variation: fold in 1/2 c crushed walnuts or macadamias, blueberries or Goji berries for added flair. Mixture can be poured over crumbled nuts, in pie plate or spring form pan for a layered fudge pie.
