You seem to be quite involved in watching your own process this week. You feel impatient to hurry up and be done with waiting. There is much to be shared amongst two people and it is your intention to keep from competing for attention. A certain amount of vying for emotional leadership is evident and it is hard not to bring up moral issues that help lean things more in your favor. How are you looking at this situation? Let us use perfume as an analogy for emotions. Spilled perfume with a broken bottle can, on first glance, be an inconvenience. However, have you considered the larger picture? What sort of meaning does this hold for you? Perfume is created to lure the senses and can be a healing agent depending on the essential oils used. Be careful when making decisions about the situation that you are in. Do not only consider your own thoughts and feelings, but take a look at the affect that you have on your environment. That is where you will find who you are. Create togetherness by familiarizing yourself with the role that is a comfort to you. When you do this you will find natural affection and togetherness will be restored. Ralph Waldo Emerson comments, “Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.”

Taurus (Apr 20 - May 20)

You are giving more than you receive. A little pressure towards your way of doing it gives the extra impetuous for birth. Life has new meaning and the usual drama has less affect. You refuse to engage in spiritual confrontation and therefore radiate acceptance. Contradiction is inherent in all things, yet you will be fortunate to come into contact with something or someone very important that will be beneficial. It will be all very unexpected. This will not be something you can directly go out and get. The changes that need to be made will then be evident and you will become more true and whole to who you are. Immanuel Kant said, “The greatest human quest is to know what one must do in order to become a human being.”

This week you will observe the impressionable nature of those around you. “Aping” the actions and ideas around oneself is the basis for learning. Seeing this, you know that you are in a position to affect change and influence evolution. The excitement of your ideals almost makes you reckless in what you want to say. You are eager for the old to be replaced with a new spirit, yet you hold back. You are well aware of your role. You are a confident teacher. Respect can be yours by uniting fully in the group consciousness and choosing honorable self-observation. What is your role within society and how do you fulfill your obligations towards growth? We are all tied together. Shui-ch’ing Tzu said, “In the center of compassion is the place of union, Inside the Mysterious Gate is the realm of yao-chi. Lock up the monkey and ape so they cannot run away. Tame the wild horse so that it cannot get out of control. Around you are ideas that are stuck in the past. That is all well and good, but if it prevents forward movement…..well…. Still, think about what naturally unfolds anytime one makes a wish. There will be plenty of mental nourishment that expands your spirit this week. You will question authority and tradition. Yet, you won’t worry about the outcome, because you will be too busy with other emotions and your plans to manifest your desires. R. L. Wing says, “When you are seeking earthly things, apply earthly methods. When your goals are lofty and ambitious, your methods must be inventive and daring. Learn to apply the appropriate kind of effort to achieve the effect you desire.” Be realistic about your goals. Contemplate the source of people and yourself. Remembering the ‘why’ of humanity and you will put yourself on the path to enlightenment.

This is a very complicated situation you have put yourself in and the way out doesn’t seem clear at first. You pray, you sweat and you call out for help. Is this something that you have brought upon yourself or is someone else to blame? There has been something on your mind for sometime now and the plans you make have been quietly concealed. You feel love and love is near. Yet, you still know how to take care of the things that need immediate response while putting your personal feelings aside. Help is on the way! Practice graciousness and restraint. Everything will turn out just fine when you accept the help you need while being careful not to tip the boat. You have had the experience of catastrophic change. This is what creates the caution you now exhibit in moving forward. Darkness has come into light and you feel ready to explore new territory. You are your own person. Do you want too much? Are you trying to understand things too soon? There is still danger to avoid and you won’t be able to do that with one big surmounting. Small actions that are diligent and consistent will build a foundation that will carry you along safely. No need for pretense. Be very clear about your intentions. If you try to do too much at once, well……you can probably guess what will happen. How will you relate? Who will support you? It is essential to harmonize with your environment and your family. On the subject of the heart and its expansion, your choice is to talk about healing and reach out for nourishment. At the same time, however, you are not necessarily expressing intense emotions. You keep them to yourself. What is it that you do not believe anymore? Does it constitute an improvement? You have worries that you push aside by making yourself too busy. Obstacle after obstacle presents themselves, yet you cannot stop. Your quiet determination is not something you want to share because you do not want to chance anyone else leading the way. You don’t want to follow, even if it will make things easier. Be thorough. This is an issue that has deep roots in the past. Be calm, as well, and you will find the hidden answers that everyone is privy to see if they want it bad enough. Peace can be yours. Look to what has come before. There are too many elements involved with what you choose to call your responsibility. You struggle to find some control while keeping secrets. There is no opportunity to advance and you cannot say anything. Do you throw it all down or stubbornly push forward? Whatever you do people will see. You have already locked yourself into this situation. Until you play out the entire circumstance, you will not have a chance to make a change for the better. Crap! The good news is that this is an opportune time to find out what is nourishing to you. Once the change is made you will know exactly what you do not want and what it is you value. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “Every reform was once a private opinion, and when it shall be a private opinion again it will solve the problem of the age.”

Sagittarius (Nov 22 - Dec 21)

The point you want to make is tall. We see that. You want your authority recognized and justice to be issued. Changes need to be made that require control and discipline. Moral adjustments should be based on your influence. Watch yourself, mighty Sag. Keep in mind this will do nothing but complicate the situation even further. Keep your power to yourself. If you can maintain your progress without being boastful, the effect will be even more powerful. Besides, you will be forced to prove yourself again and again if you allow yourself superiority. Is that what you want….responsibility? Let yourself go second. You don’t have to be first to get the desired result. You are ready to come out from behind your serious contemplation….out into the light. Playtime!! Mix your inner adult with your inner child. You can still have fun while saying no to bad influences. Remember, if you let certain things develop they will grow and grow and grow until they are a BIG problem. Of course that doesn’t mean you can’t play with those that are less important to you. Everyone has their place in your life no matter where. Be quiet from inside yourself and tra la la within the parameters of your own principles. Changes are afoot and you are protected. Nothing will push you off your swing. You have potential. You are ready for a new start. Luckily you will be able to handle your responsibilities while enjoying your opportunities. How much energy do you want to put into this week? The group is watching to see how you will feel. You have stated your position and now faced with conflict you are keeping your mouth closed. Respect can be yours by not engaging directly with the conflict. You could win if you asserted yourself and you know it. But then what? They will try again and again to take you down. Exhausting! Keep your fears in check and maintain stability by remaining optimistic even in the middle of trouble. You deserve an award for being the wiser and another award for endurance. Andre Gide said, “It is easier to lead men to combat, stirring up their passion, than to restrain them and direct them toward the patient labors of peace.”

Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 20)

When you spend time by yourself it is an opportune time to look at the many faces you, as a pisces, adorn. However you don’t always get an accurate view. It is hard to rely on your own subjective nature. Taking opinions, or even discernments, from someone who deems themselves an authority is often hard to take. You’ve dealt with them before and felt your head being knocked around. Please don’t let the past hold you back this week. You will find yourself in an excellent position to say what you need to and be respected for what you communicate. The responses you will get will be beneficial and they will reveal parts of you that have long needed to be recognized. Be receptive. Osho said,

“Personality as such is false. The word “personality” has to be understood. It comes from persona; persona means mask. In ancient drama the actors used to wear masks. Those masks were called personae - personae because the sound was coming from behind the mask. Sona means sound. The masks were apparent to the audience and from behind the mask the sound was coming. From that word persona has come the word “personality.”

All personality is false. Good personality, bad personality, the personality of a sinner and the personality of a saint - all are false. You can wear a beautiful mask or an ugly mask, it doesn’t make a difference.

The real thing is your essence.
