RELATIONSHIFTS: There are a lot of things we shouldn’t sniff but often do. Either out of sheer stupidity as children (think glue) or out of sheer stupidity as adults (think pepper spray), and while I’ve never sniffed the former, and if you haven’t sniffed the latter, don’t - we’re all guilty of smelling something we probably shouldn’t have smelled, or something we wish we hadn’t smelled (think someone else’s farts).
But smelling something that’s technically so wrong can make some people feel so right. Take panties for example. Have you ever sniffed a pair of someone else’s panties, and I’m not just talking about smelling them to check if they belong in the clean or dirty laundry pile here, although have you ever done that to? I’m talking, have you ever sniffed someone else’s panties because you wanted to get off on their scent?
Urban dictionary, the not so academic or factual online place for all types of verbiage, offers up it’s own myriad of definitions on panty sniffing. My favorite is as follows:

I am not a panty sniffer, although, on occasion I have smelled my own undies, but more often to see if they’re fresh or well, not so fresh.
