“FOOD THAT RAWKS”: RainDance Goddess Dressing
In celebration of our mother earth’s April rain, I will be sharing with you a simple RainDance dressing that makes tree bark taste fantasic! Salad dressing can make a bowl of mixed greens transform into a delightful meal that’s kind on the pocket book. When first adjusting to eating more salads I relyed on top notch salad dressing I could make from scratch. I think it’s very important to stear clear of bottled, harmful cooked oil dressing and move onto fresh made at home dressings.
For this dressing you will need:
2 c tree bark ground
4 c freshly cut grass
1 orange …..Just kiddin’ April fools!
Rain Dance Goddess dressing.
1/2 c cold pressed olive oil
1/2 c tahini (sesame seed butter)
1/4 c lemon juice
2 TB agave or honey
1/2 tsp himalayan salt
1 bunch parsley washed, stems removed
1/4 tsp Cumin powder
1 small garlic clove (optional)
Blend all ingredients until smoooth. Store in glass for up to 1 week. Use as a dip or as dressing.
