Hi Jasmin,
I’m not really that into sports, but I once played them in highschool. I was a good runner and a wrestler but for some reason I never dream about them. Instead I constantly dream about all the team sports I was never that good at - soccer, basketball, and football. Sometimes, I’m pretty good and make some goals, score a touchdown, or sink a basket. Other times, I suck and go offside, drop a pass, or double dribble. I’m always my current age and I get so much into the sports while dreaming that I actually kick, jump, and catch in bed. Now, I don’t even care about sports in my daily life - I don’t watch them and don’t play them, unless you count yoga, so why am I constantly dreaming about them?
Dear Dreamer,
It appears to me that you are working on perfecting your talents at night in dreamscape. As a teen you may have felt inadequate not being able to perform as well as you would have liked to. Now you have the ability to recreate this time of your life. In fact, when we dream of such things so often we truly become better at them. Your soul essence is teaching your physical body how to play sports more accurately. By reliving moments of your past you are in a sense re-doing them.
It is interesting that you are not playing the sports you were good at, you are playing the ones you need practice in. This is a clear sign of the desire to be more efficient hidden deep within your subconscious. I think it is great that you are overcoming your obstacles in dreams. What better place to create a safe learning zone. After all if you miss a pass in a dream, you can always wake up and try again the next night!
