Propaganda sees the Propaganda

Getting internet time is proving difficult while on the road.

Anyway,  let’s proceed.

July 7

Day off. Just chilled this day. Read a lot from this book called ‘Forrest of Visions,’ which is about the Santo Daime in Brazil. A very interesting read,  indeed.

July 8

I visited the ‘Communist Propaganda Museum’ in the old city part of Prague with DJ Milkmoney.

This was such an interesting place. I learned tons about a specific form of Communist practice, namely Stalinist, that really messed with a whole society for many years. What is interesting and sad is that many Prague residents apparently still feel deep pains around this time period that any type of discussion about Communisn may lead to a heated argument.

This tour was very enlightening on so many levels. It got trippy when I saw the propaganda about the propaganda, haha.

July 9

Went to the studio and met with a Czech producer, P.A.trick. He played me some beats, and there were a few real soulful tunes that caught my attention.

Our time was limited, so I tried a new studio technique, which was basically to record my freestyle to the beat and then take it from there. This went really well. I recorded a hot chorus, a dope verse to the track, and a verse to another song. All lead by the freestyle. We made plans for me come back on the following Monday to finish the song. Jyeah!

July 10

I took a walk around the city on this day. Just slow meanderings through the old city, taking it all in.

Prague is such an amazing place. Super old buildings reveal such craftsmenship in their design.

Some specific things that stood out were the Astrological Clock, that has the Zodiac plus a few other things on it’s face. There was a plethora of Cathedrals, like on nearly every corner.

It was all very beautiful, and at the same time I could feel that there has been some huanting things that have gone on in this city. I did feel that vibe which ‘Magic Prague’ talked about in it’s pages.

Still I was more impressed with the Life than the Horror.
