Sacred Warrior Training with Jonathan Phillips
A sacred warrior is one who walks in harmony with the divine force of the universe, leading from the heart on our journey to remember universal oneness. This workshop will teach you how to sense and work with the body’s electromagnetic fields (aura) and manifest more confidence, health, love, and abundance in your life. We will incorporate the wisdom of yoga, Reiki, shamanism, and the ancient Gnostics to access our own divine energy as we become conscious creators bringing about personal and spiritual transformation in our world. Exercises include polarity work, kundalini meditations, chanting, and interactive heart openings. We will also journey into the shadow self, acknowledging its lessons for overcoming our own fears, then take that knowledge to let in our own divine power and grace. This workshop is ideal for people who are feeling held back or want an added boost toward reaching the next step in their lives.
This is the first class in a series. The next Sacred Warrior Training will be Sunday, April 19.
Jonathan Phillips is a Reiki Master and Founder of the NYC Gnostics. He is the Community Director of Evolver.net and Reality Sandwich, as well as the Executive Editor of Souldish.com. He hosts “Electric Jesus” podcasts, discussing energy, healing, and transformation.

The Naming by Galeet Dardashti
Middle Eastern vocalist Galeet Dardashti (of the all-female ensemble Divahn) follows a family tradition of distinguished musicianship dating back to 19th-century Persia. Her new acoustic/electronic and multi-media solo project “The Naming” draws inspiration from the musical and cultural landscapes of the Middle East and some of the provocative yet unsung Biblical women who lived there. Dardashti’s sophisticated compositions in Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabic, Persian, and English lend traditional Jewish and Muslim texts compelling contemporary contexts, with songs evoking both the sounds of the ancient East and future West. The piece will also feature members of SYREN Modern Dance performing live and vivid video projections.

Deepening Your Shamanic Experience
With Itzhak Beery and Joey Levine. This “mini-apprenticeship” is for those who have had some exposure to shamanism and some experience of journeying into non-ordinary states but who wish to go deeper, either to make shamanism part of their daily practice or to add its age-old healing methods to their repertoire of healing practices. We will explore rituals and practices from several traditions, including those of the Ecuadorian Quechua and of the Brazilian Amazon; shamanic journeying to the upper, middle and lower worlds; the role of power animals and teachers; the use of huachas (sacred items); how to set up and properly use a sacred altar from which to draw power; chants and the role of music in healing; shamanic divination; the development of intuition; healing techniques; and, most importantly, how to protect oneself from negative energies. Weekly homework will be given. Bring drums and/or rattles if you have them, as well as eye coverings, a blanket, a journal and a pen. Sage will be burned in class. This is a weekly course. Course Code: 09wsh05t. The tuition for members $185. (6 sessions) Thursdays. February 26-April 2, 8-10pm

JourneyDance at Jivamukti with Jeanine
Movement is medicine. JourneyDance is my medicine. When I was cooking for 175 to 200 hungry New Yorkers at the Ashram in the Bahamas, at one point the stress was so intense I wanted to start throwing knives at people That is not good. When my mind was fried, I put on my bikini and baggy shorts and danced the ocean of emotion in the actual ocean and then I did the JourneyDance Fire ritual in the sand, celebrated my dancing cleanse to a rockin Beyonce tune on the beach… I danced so hard I broke my earphones. I was able to go back to the kitchen with a sense of purpose and love. This post-Valentine’s day Journey Dance will be dedicated to treasuring the root and heart chakras. Heal your heart, ground yourself , embrace the divine god & goddess that resides in your own sacred self and share that love with the universe.

Be Wild Weekly Healing Womb Circle with Kiana Love
Join us as we manifest Be Wild’s Healing the Womb Project. This weekly Meet Up focuses on helping women as a group. We gather to build a strong nurturing foundation that supports us as women and empowers all women we meet. Bring your individual healing dreams and we will hold space for our wholeness and manifest healing through energy clearing and building, meditation, yoga, divination and more. We will meet at very middle of the week, the 4th day, to powerfully bring the balance we are manifesting: healing as an internal practice and healing blooming forth out of balanced ground. This balancing of spirit and the earth reflects the 4th chakra, the heart center, as we will be getting to the heart of the matter, so to speak. Four is also the number of the four seasons, the four directions, and the four elements. Four stands for foundation, service, the group, grounding, home, and tranquility, teamwork & persistence — how I envision the space of the Healing Womb Circle.
